Beginner training plan
Your first lessonMy goal is to evaluate each athlete’s current mechanics and overall skill level. This assessment allows me to identify strengths, pinpoint areas for improvement, correct any bad habits, and build a strong foundation by reinforcing proper technique through purposeful, game-focused drills.
Lesson 2-3We will do reassessment of the skills we worked on during the first session. We’ll reinforce proper mechanics, make any necessary corrections, and continue building consistent, positive habits. Once a strong foundation is evident, we’ll progress to more advanced drills, such as learning how to intentionally drive the ball to different parts of the field while maintaining proper hitting mechanics.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWhen working with advanced players, I expect the fundamentals to already be in place. This session is an opportunity to evaluate the swing, make any necessary adjustments, and get quality reps. If we identify specific action items, we can use the next lesson to break them down into targeted drills.
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen kids are young they are the most vulnerable and tend to adapt to fundamentals like a sponge. I believe youth or those new to the sport allow opportunity to develop good habits early. I can break drills down so that they become relatable
