Hello. My name is Michelle. I am a USAV and SafeSport-certified volleyball coach and former NCAA D1 middle blocker. I currently coach at AZ Hype and work with athletes of all skill levels. I have experience in back-row defense, serving, and setting. I specialize in blocking, attacking, serving, and passing skills. My goal is to help players build confidence, strong fundamentals, and volleyball IQ, all in a supportive, positive environment.

With deep roots in the tradition of legendary Texas high school coaching, I’ve spent my career developing wide receivers into disciplined, explosive playmakers. My name is Michael, but you can call me Repp, like hundreds of students do every day! I currently teach in Central Phoenix, where I've been teaching ELA for more than a decade after achieving my Master's Degree in Secondary Education from ASU. Prior to that, writing was my career! I received an undergraduate degree in Journalism from ASU, and used it to write in consumer tech for several years. My primary focus has been middle school, but I'm excited to help learners of all ages!

I have been coaching pickleball for the past five years. Before retiring spent many years as a trainer. I enjoy working with beginner and intermediate players. If you rank yourself, that would be 0 - 2.5 :) Our first lesson will include discussing your goals for the lessons and an evaluation of your current skills.

I've been playing Pickleball for close to 20 years and didn't have anyone to teach me back then except other players so I formed some bad habits.
