I coach the mental side of baseball. I don’t teach hitting mechanics, pitching grips, or fielding footwork. I work on what most coaches never address: the confidence, focus, composure, and mental routines that determine whether an athlete’s physical ability actually shows up when it matters. I played college baseball at Hawaii Pacific University and Grand Canyon University and spent time in professional baseball environments including independent league camps and spring training. I know what it feels like to step into the box with pressure on, to deal with a bad at-bat carrying into the next one, and to play a role that demands mental toughness nobody taught me how to build. I had to figure most of it out on my own. Now I help baseball players at every level develop the mental skills I wish I had been taught. I am a Certified Mental Performance Coach through Brian Cain’s Mental Performance Mastery program and a Certified Life and Success Coach through Jay Shetty’s program. I also hold certifications and training in meditation, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), and somatic coaching (body-based awareness and nervous system regulation). Most baseball coaches will tell a player to “shake it off” or “be more confident” but never explain what that actually means or how to do it. I do. I give baseball players specific, practical tools they can use before, during, and after games to compete with more clarity, confidence, and control.
"Mike is an excellent coach who keeps me motivated and focused on my goals. He guides me with insightful questions whenever I am not sure of what to do or how to do it. Mike helps me stay on track and avoid procrastination. I strongly recommend him to anyone seeking improvement.

Music has always been my greatest passion, and for two decades, I've had the privilege of sharing that passion with my students. I specialize in shaping aspiring brass musicians, helping them develop their technique and discover the joy of creating beautiful music. French Horn & Trumpet are my main instruments, but I am able to teach any brass or music student. I am also able to tutor for college entrance exams or courses in ear training and music theory. My teaching style is engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs and aspirations. I will always meet students at the level they are at and help them improve on their struggles and goals.
"When I was completing my degree in Music Education at ASU, I took some private lessons with Jaici. She was a TA for the Horn Studio so I had some lessons with her. Jaici was very knowledgeable and helpful as a teacher. I never felt stressed before going to a lesson with her because I knew she would help me with the things I was struggling with. I enjoyed playing duets and working on advanced playing techniques with her. Now we both work together as music teachers in the same school district! Jaici is a great private lessons teacher and I recommend taking lessons with her.

Born and raised in Texas, I carry the legacy of Friday Night Lights in everything I do. With deep roots in the tradition of legendary Texas high school coaching, I’ve spent my career developing wide receivers into disciplined, explosive playmakers. My approach blends old-school fundamentals with modern offensive strategy—precision in route running, strong hands, and the ability to win every matchup. Over the years, I’ve worked alongside some of the state’s most respected coaches, contributing to championship programs and mentoring athletes who went on to succeed at the collegiate and professional levels. More than drills and playbooks, I believe in building character, confidence, and relentless work ethic—qualities that define not just great receivers, but great men.
"Opened my eyes to how much really goes into being a receiver!
