I’ve played soccer for twenty years. I played college ball at Ottawa for five years, receiving all conference accolades. I now coach at Next Level, and do private lessons on the side. I also currently play for the WUPSL team at Next Level too.

From college tennis to captaining a 4.5 Men's League team in Phoenix, I've thrived in various athletic arenas. As a head coach for high school volleyball and captain for advanced adult volleyball teams, I've honed my skills on and off the court. I compete daily with top-rated players in pickleball, securing victories like the AZ vs. Las Vegas Asian doubles tournament. Beyond my successes, I've also shared my expertise, teaching and mentoring others, including my sister, who has risen to become the #1 female pickleball player in Asia.

"Our two boys were looking to raise their skill level and Coach Roger helped with that by making our sessions fun and challenging. Their training time was maximized with tons of touches on the ball. They were given homework and did it all which gave them goals to work toward during the summer. Our oldest son even made a club soccer team for the first time after training with Coach Roger. Before we began training with Roger our younger son had difficulty putting the ball in the net even though he had a lot of chances. I offer private volleyball lessons for beginner to intermediate athletes who want to build strong fundamentals, improve confidence, and elevate their overall game. While I specialize in setting and libero training, I coach all positions and tailor each session to the athlete’s individual needs and goals. My training approach combines technical skill development, game awareness, and agility, strength, and conditioning to help players become well-rounded and game-ready. I use a wide range of professional training equipment—including targets, passing trainers, setter and hitter tools, and portable pop-up nets—to create engaging, effective sessions whether we’re in a gym or training on the go. I offer one-on-one and small group lessons, allowing for focused instruction and personalized feedback. My goal is to help athletes grow not just as volleyball players, but as confident competitors who understand the game and enjoy the process of improving.

After working at my local golf course growing up, I went through the PGA Golf Management program at New Mexico State University. From there I started working as teaching professional at Golf Made simple teaching 3 day classes to 4 golfers at a time. I’m Then promoted to Lead instructor trainer teaching the new instructors how to properly teach and coach classes. Now I teach full time at several different venues.
