"I’ve asked Jay regarding one review that’s gotten 1 star rating… Not to badmouth anyone here, but it’s very misleading to just hear one side of the story so I’m putting down a review so you guys can decide. What Jay told me happened was that this particular student told through the app that she never needed equipments. So then, of course Jay or any instructor will come empty handed. Then first thing she told him was “I don’t have any clubs” and that’s how their lesson started off. After one hour, she told him how willing she was to take two instead of one lesson a week so she can develop faster. So Jay planned her curriculum accordingly. But at the end, she didn’t explain her text thoroughly regarding getting lessons and he ended up preparing as if he would see her. And then the rest happened. My personal experience with jay is just like the rest of the people here. Absolutely amazing of a coach!

Since then, golf has been my constant companion, leading me to captain my high school golf team and later coach the girl's varsity team at Jurupa Valley after my time at UCLA where I double majored in anthropology and philosophy. With a background in teaching and coaching, golf isn't just a sport to me—it's a lifelong passion that brings joy and fulfillment. As a coach, I'm dedicated to passing on this love of the game to others, guiding students through all aspects of golf, from swing mechanics to mental strategies, physical conditioning, and course management. Robin is the Wind Conductor of the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (YOLA) at Inglewood under the Los Angeles Philharmonic. She is also the founder and conductor of the Mission Philharmonic and Mission Wind Ensemble, where she is dedicated to fostering music education and appreciation in Riverside through free concerts and community outreach. Her conducting experience spans orchestras, wind ensembles, and opera, including her work with the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and Opera at California Baptist University. As a performer, she has played with distinguished ensembles such as the World Youth Wind Symphony and the FMEA All-State Symphonic Band. In addition to her work on the podium, Robin has held arts administration roles, serving as Orchestra Manager for the Sewanee Symphony and Artist Liaison for the National Repertory Orchestra. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Instrumental Conducting at California Baptist University and holds a Bachelor of Music in piano and flute performance from Florida Southern College.
