My name is Zach Tone and I am senior at San Diego State University! I am the president of the pickleball club there, and play competitively in collegiate tournaments around the country. I have taught over 100 students the sport, and I have a passion for helping people get better. I also work with the National Collegiate Pickleball Association in order to find high quality coaches for junior leagues!
"I just started playing a couple months ago, and I’m hooked. I’m friends with Zach’s mom, and she told me to take a couple lessons with him. Let me tell you he is so caring and passionate about helping others get better. He makes the lessons fun, and my game has gotten better already!

Hello. My name is Jessica and although I recently obtained my California teaching credential for multi subject, I have several years of teaching experience. I really enjoy teaching grades K-5. I support students in both their reading and writing through using creative, engaging exercises to spark individual interests. I break apart concepts or scaffold material into smaller, easier, more manageable tasks promoting both confidence and motivation.
"Ethan really struggled with reading comprehension so we spent a lot of time practicing reading through short, engaging stories that focused on sound pronunciation and segment of letters. Using digraphs to help reinforce beginning sounds followed by worksheets helped Ethan become a stronger reader. I also pre read sentences and then had Ethan read along with me highlighting difficult words we could focus on later. Discussing difficult words ahead of time helped improve his reading and comprehension significantly.
