I’m an SCTA, USTA, and ITF junior player with over 30 years of experience in the sport. I’ve had the honor of becoming a national champion, which has fueled my passion for tennis even more. Throughout my journey, I’ve gained valuable insights that I love sharing with others, whether through coaching or mentoring young players. Tennis has shaped my life, and I’m excited to continue contributing to the sport I adore.

I have been playing pickleball since early 2022 and received my PPR Associate Coach certification in June of 2023. Positive feedback from students reflect that I have a knack for easily explaining the rules of the game and can teach technique to beginners and intermediates in a fun and informative way. I have prior teaching experience in dance and gymnastics as a young adult. I have trained extensively at camps and clinics lead by numerous instructors and Pros, including Tyson McGuffin, Susannah Barr, Zac Taylor Lisa & Wayne Dollard, and Bobby Phoumy. Pickleball fondly reminds me of my younger days playing badminton and ping pong. I really enjoy sharing valuable information to inspire others to learn and find happiness in mastering this super fun sport for all ages. As a trained golf instructor, I specialize in offering a personalized swing and short game lesson in golf. Whether you're a beginner, eager to learn the basics and fundamentals of the game, or intermediate player aiming to refine your overall golfing ability, the lessons I implement are designed to enhance your overall golf game, while most importantly helping you to enjoy the time you spend practicing. As a graduate of Golf Academy of America, Carlsbad, California (unfortunately no longer in business), I studied the golf swing, psychology of golf, and complex teaching methods as well as golf game management. I also learned how to build and assemble golf clubs, as well as expanding my knowledge on the vast and complex rules of golf. During my 2 years at GAA, beyond my studies, I competed at a collegiate level, making the competitive Golf Team each semester I attended. I came to understand that there are no two identical golf swings. My job is to influence you to find the mechanically correct way to improve your swing and develop your short game, to help you enjoy golf more than you ever have!

"Brian demonstrates a novel way of teaching by giving me the opportunity to identify my own mistakes based on the content that I learned from him on the spot. This exercise, along with the drills, helps me better understand the concepts that we learned today. If there is one improvement I have to state, it’s that the drop shot adjustments could be introduced better. Give them awareness that the balls can come at different height/different speeds first and then show them the techniques to handle such cases.
