My name is Desmond Frempong, and basketball has been my passion for over 30 years, playing through high school and coaching at both youth and high school levels. I've had the privilege of coaching at Ayala High School in Chino Hills and Glendora High School in Glendora. Currently, I am actively involved in youth and high school refereeing, and I also have experience working with youth summer leagues. I pride myself on being knowledgeable, patient, and effective as a teacher. I look forward to collaborating with you to enhance your skills on the court!

With over two decades of recreational tennis and ping pong experience, coupled with two years immersed in the world of Pickleball, I've cultivated a deep passion for racket sports. Transitioning into coaching, I've discovered a profound love for Pickleball and pursued full-time certification as a PPR instructor. My goal is simple: to share my enthusiasm for the sport and instill proper techniques, guiding players to their fullest potential on the Pickleball court.

With a passion for golf that spans years, I teach real golf not just how to hit the ball. We will be going out on the actual course by lesson 8. I bring a wealth of experience to the fairways as a 7 handicap golf instructor. Specializing in swing training, strength conditioning, and mastering the art of the driver swing, I deeply understand the game's nuances. My dedication extends to perfecting short games and putting techniques crucial for success on the course. I seamlessly integrate my extensive knowledge of 18-hole course play rules, ensuring my students excel in technique and navigating the game's complexities. With years of coaching experience, I pride myself on cultivating talent and instilling a love for the game in each student. Please Note: All Cancellations must be made 24hrs before lesson scheduled time. Lessons cancelled after the 24hr window within reason will be charged at full lesson price.

I have been playing basketball since the age of 10. My brother was on the high school team and I have trained with him growing up almost everyday. I played on my college intramural team and have taken lessons from professionals that played in college. I regularly play in basketball leagues that even have players over 6’8” tall. I am well versed in young children as I have taught young students English from three years up. (I have my own kids these ages) I am bilingual Mandarin and can explain concepts well in both languages. I am patient, kind, and enjoy seeing others achieve their goals. I look forward to teaching any students be well rounded individuals not just in sports, but in life.

I have been coaching for 3+ years to 6-18 year olds on fielding, throwing, and hitting. I have played my entire life and won the NAIA National Championship 2024. I received my Masters Degree during 2025 in Sport Performance and Psychology. Currently I am coaching both travel baseball, Junior Varsity High school baseball as well as hitting lessons.
