Hi, I'm B! With over 15 years of experience teaching English and Spanish to all age levels, I know how to make language learning natural and stress-free. My background as a professional interpreter for 5+ years and a Master’s in Psychology allows me to understand exactly how your brain processes a new language. I have been teaching English for 10 years. I have experience teaching face to face and virtual lessons. I have worked individually and with large groups of students. I have worked for several recognized institutes in Costa Rica and the United States. I have a strong ability to manage all age students and to get them to learn and participate to accomplish learning goals. I welcome the opportunity to show you how my skills and strengths can serve you learning process and reach your goals.

I am passionate about helping students learn Mandarin in a fun and creative way. Using videos will help them understand the topic and theme more easily. I believe learning Mandarin should be fun rather than stressful. I am willing to make any necessary changes to help students succeed. During the first lesson, the student is expected to take a brief Mandarin skills test to help me understand the student's current level and skills in Mandarin.
