Welcome to Golf Lessons by coach Kollar, where passion meets precision. Mile Square Golf Club in Fountain Valley is my home course, where I’ll often be found, sharpening & working on my game. As a trained golf instructor, I specialize in offering a personalized swing and short game lesson in golf. Whether you're a beginner, eager to learn the basics and fundamentals of the game, or intermediate player aiming to refine your overall golfing ability, the lessons I implement are designed to enhance your overall golf game, while most importantly helping you to enjoy the time you spend practicing. As a graduate of Golf Academy of America, Carlsbad, California (unfortunately no longer in business), I studied the golf swing, psychology of golf, and complex teaching methods as well as golf game management. I also learned how to build and assemble golf clubs, as well as expanding my knowledge on the vast and complex rules of golf. During my 2 years at GAA, beyond my studies, I competed at a collegiate level, making the competitive Golf Team each semester I attended. I came to understand that there are no two identical golf swings. My job is to influence you to find the mechanically correct way to improve your swing and develop your short game, to help you enjoy golf more than you ever have!

Coach Larry Vargas started his coaching & tennis experience first with "NIKE INC. in the TENNIS DIVISION" This provided the opportunity to work & interact inside a top level tennis environment with professional coaches/ trainers and even TOP RATED USTA TENNIS PLAYERS. He then went on to receive his C.I.F. Coaching Certificate and became the Head Tennis Coach for Notre Dame High School/ Riverside. He also became part of the "JR. TENNIS.PROGRAM" for the city of Riverside offering group tennis lessons for kids of all ages. Coach Vargas specializes in coaching / training young adults & kids of all ages. From: beginners/ intermediate & advanced players. along with providing drills & a great workout using his own Tennis Ball Machine. My journey with pickleball began in 2022, igniting a passion that has quickly propelled me to a DUPR rating of 4.85. In the 2 tournaments I have competed in, I remain unbeaten with a 19-0 record. Beyond tournaments, my skills have been consistently tested and proven on the courts of Maple Hill, iPickle Whittier, and iPickle LaHabra, where I perform well against players rated 4.5 and above.
