I do have experience with group classes & ages as young as 4yr-60yr olds! No matter what you’re looking for (a good sweat, to get better, learn the arts or just to get your frustrations out!) With over 30 years on the court and experience competing at the college level, I bring a lifelong love of basketball to every session. I specialize in developing fundamentals—shooting, passing, and defense—for beginners through intermediate players. I coach in Santa Monica at Reed Park and private residences, offering personalized, goal-driven (in writing 😁) training that builds skill, confidence, and understanding of the game. As a father of two teens (one at Pali High and one at SaMo) and a COO by day, I value focus, growth, and helping each player reach their potential.

I’ve taught multiple styles of Yoga and also Thai Massage at various studios in Los Angeles and at the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara for over twenty years. I have advanced training in Yoga and Thai Massage and a degree in Social Work. My teaching focuses on Restorative yoga, stretching, relaxation and my training and experience in Thai bodywork.

Madeleine is the founder and guide behind Poise (poisedbym.com), bringing over a decade of experience in Yoga, meditation and mindfulness practices for clients of all ages and levels. Her work combines trauma-informed approaches, somatic awareness and nervous system regulation to support resilience, recovery and holistic well being. She integrates insights from buddhist psychology and neuroscience- informed Mindfulness to create safe, inclusive and transformative experiences.

Anael Davoodpour is a certified yoga teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification. She teaches Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Kids Yoga for all ages and experience levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Her classes combine mindful movement, breathwork, strength, flexibility, and relaxation, creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students can build balance, confidence, and a deeper connection with themselves.

Around five years back, I fell head over heels for this addictive sport after years of USTA tennis. Recognizing the nuanced finesse required in pickleball, I pursued proper training, eager to bridge the gap for players transitioning from other sports. As a senior player, I've found pickleball to offer an incredible workout with less strain on the body. That's why I became a certified coach through the Professional Pickleball Registry, dedicated to teaching the game cohesively and joyfully.
