Hello, I'm Alvin, a 4.0 rated Pickleball player with a wealth of experience on the court. My passion extends beyond teaching you the sport; I want you to find real enjoyment from each game. My diverse background includes directing tennis programs at prestigious locations like the Four Seasons in Marrakech and Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco and well known clubs and organizations such the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Program in Philadelphia, R.U.C and C.O.C in Casablanca, Morocco and many others. I've been surfing for about 13 years and previously competed in the shortboard division on my high school surf team. I primarily ride short boards, ranging from thrusters to twin fins, but I also have experience with longboarding and other alternative shapes. As an avid surfer, I hit the waves daily whenever conditions are good. Over the past 5 years, I've enjoyed teaching many friends how to surf and sharing my passion and knowledge of the sport.

Ricardo Terlaje, national team player, has proudly represented his country in numerous high-level amateur events. I use one the #1 swing training aids (pro sender) created Sean foley (past coach of Tiger Woods) and David Woods. { I have a simplified 3 part swing training to make any golfer better at the game. After proper stance and positioning I have simplified the entire swing to 3 easy steps} With a specialization in the short game, Ricardo's skills on the golf course have garnered admiration and respect from his peers. His dedication and passion for the sport shine through in every swing, inspiring those around him to strive for excellence in their own game.

Will began competing in state and regional tournaments at 14, earning MVP honors in high school and holding the #1 singles spot for three years. He went on to play both singles and doubles for Allegheny College, continuing to sharpen his competitive edge. Recently relocated from Seattle to San Diego, Will is excited to share his passion for tennis with players of all levels. Off the court, he works in marketing, professional photography, and music production as a DJ.

With over five years of experience teaching beginner and intermediate surfers, I bring a holistic and deeply personal approach to every lesson. My teaching is rooted in mindfulness, breathwork, and the belief that surfing is not just a sport—it’s a pathway to growth, presence, and self-discovery. I’m passionate about helping others find confidence in the water, connection with the ocean, and a deeper understanding of themselves through surfing. For me, the lessons we learn on the board mirror the challenges and triumphs of everyday life, and I’m honored to guide others on that journey.

I began playing golf after working at a summer camp in the late 90’s. I signed up to coach basketball, but the Bulls were in the Finals again, so by the time I got to camp, the only sport left to coach was golf, and I had zero playing or coaching experience in that sport. I had been an athlete all my life and a coach for almost a decade by that point, so I figured, “How hard can it be?” I found out quickly it was very hard, but also challenging in a way that kept me completely compelled to learn. I spent that summer learning the game from 10 year olds. We would drive over to the local course in rural Pennsylvania nearest the camp in the late afternoon, the sun getting low as we’re out there laughing and having a blast, usually at my expense. I vividly remember my mind being blown at the concept of hitting down, to make the ball go up. Fascinating! I got hooked, came home after camp, jumped into any and everything golf; Tiger Woods, Dave Pelz, Rick Smith, David Ledbetter, Golf Channel, etc., etc. I got pretty good quickly, played all over the place, signed up to attend a golf instructor school in 2002 and the rest is history. I’ve given thousands of lessons coast to coast, including Maui, Scottsdale, NYC, San Diego and even Tijuana. I have a deep knowledge of the game and swing mechanics, combined with a sincere passion to help anyone of any ability learn the game I have come to love so much.
