Hello! My name is Dora Crissel Garcia, and I am a passionate educator, visual artist, and tutor with extensive experience working with K-12 students in both classroom and one-on-one settings . I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts, a Master's Degree in Education, and I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership. My teaching style is patient, engaging, and student-centered. I believe every student can succeed when learning is personalized and supportive, and enjoyable.

I’m a passionate coach that has been around the game for a while. Played collegiately and has been coaching since 2018 in high school and club. Im a firm believer that no detail is a small detail. I’m very detail oriented and have great knowledge of the basics as well as more advanced techniques

I have been a substitute teacher for about three years now and am set to become a full-time English teacher by the beginning of the next school year. After school hours, I have also worked as a private tutor for a multitude of students ranging from first graders to college students.

Unlocking your pickleball potential is my specialty. With 5 years of coaching, I provide tailored instruction, fostering both skill and a love for the game. Certified in both IPTPA (International Pickleball Teaching Prof Association) and DUPR (dynamic universal pickleball rating), I coach students the skills, shot making and strategies to elevate their game.

"An avid golfer for 40 years, I started pickleball casually about a year ago thinking that it would give me something to do in the evenings (we have lighted courts). It quickly became an obsession. Coach Kevin taught me the basics, then the not-so-basics, then finally the strategies and IQ of the game. I am in love. I would rank pickleball now at the same level of passion as golf for me!

I’m a horn player with a Master’s degree in performance, and a plethora of professional playing experience. I love teaching, and I take an intellectual, academic approach. It’s important for me to be able to explain to every student the “why” and “how” of everything I teach you. Music is an art form, and I will provide you the tools to express yourself.
