I have been working in education for at least 15 years, and I am currently a substitute teacher at Westlake Charter High School. In addition, I am currently pursuing a teaching credential and a Master of Arts in Teaching at UMass Global. My goal is to become a high school math teacher. I specialize in math. I acknowledge students' learning styles in relation to what the assignment has asked them to do. I can accommodate diverse needs when solving problems.

To me, literature is the gateway to groundbreaking transitions for humanity. I worked as an academic advisor and creative writing tutor for high schoolers and young adults. In my lessons, it’s more than just pulling out a book or writing paragraphs. I value authenticity and true connection to the pieces my students read and learn to write themselves. My goal is to contribute to a literature loving society that once existed before all the screens took over.
