Hello, my name is Alicia, and I’m a local Delray Beach tennis coach with over 18 years of playing experience and more than 8 years of teaching under my belt. I’m a former #3 ITF World Junior Ranked Player, a US Open Junior Championships Singles Finalist, and I held a WTA Professional Ranking of #404, with numerous Pro Circuit Singles Titles to my name. As the #1 ranked player in the US National Rankings in every age division and a multiple Gold Ball National Singles Title holder, I’ve been immersed in tennis since I was 3. Although an injury ended my playing career, I’m dedicated to inspiring, training, and developing the next generation of players.

I have been in the tennis industry for more than 20 years, having started playing tennis when I was 9 years old. By the age of fifteen, I was ranked number 3 in my hometown in Colombia. I graduated from Southeastern State Oklahoma University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, where I played Division II tennis, holding the #2 spot in singles and the #1 spot in doubles. Tennis has been a significant part of my life, contributing greatly to my personal and professional development.

"I’d say Sierra’s lesson was quite effective, particularly in how she explained some of the positioning and footwork, which has already helped me move more smoothly on the court. Though I still need to refine my serve, I appreciate her calm and patient approach, which makes tackling tricky parts less daunting. The sport of pickleball is growing at an insane rate, come join me and see what the rage is all about! It’s a lot of fun to play and an easy game to pick up quickly. I’m a certified pickleball coach playing at the 4.5 level. In addition to coaching pickleball I have also coached racquetball, travel baseball, softball and small groups for endurance sports training and conditioning for both the young and the not so young.
