Jewel Ausberry, affectionately known as MerJewel, is the heart and soul of MerJewel Swim Academy. With over 35 years of teaching experience, Jewel brings a unique blend of expertise, patience, and a natural ability to connect with students of all ages. Her lifelong passion for swimming began early as a high school swim team member for four years, and she later achieved lifeguard certification in her senior year. Jewel’s experience as an educator enhances her swim instruction, making her lessons engaging, effective, and tailored to each student’s needs. Known for her great sense of humor, Jewel creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere where swimmers feel confident and excited to learn. 30 years full out athlete 9.5 months out of 12. Played softball as fast pitch catcher from 11 years old through college on an athletic scholarship. Played school, rec, travel, and tourney. Hitting and throwing lessons also.

PTR and PPR certified pro with deep experience coaching Pickleball & Tennis. Teaching PB for the past few years and previously taught Tennis for 48 years. He played in four bowl games, holds multiple special teams records, and has coached athletes at both the high school and college levels. Mitch specializes in training defensive backs, focusing on technique, football IQ, and position-specific drills to elevate game performance. He has helped countless players improve footwork, reaction time, and game awareness, preparing them for success on and off the field. Passionate about mentoring young athletes, Coach Mitch combines elite-level experience with a personalized, disciplined approach to help players reach their full potential.

French tutor since 2013, starting during an exchange in Tokyo. Specializing in 9th grades to adults, I use dedicated materials to drive success. Aligning with the CECRL framework, I guide you actively rather than just lecturing. My 1 hour sessions comprehensively cover speaking, listening, reading and writing. I maximize French immersion but comfortably use English for grammar and “Frenglish” for beginners to ensure absolute clarity.
