Hello there! I have over 9+ years of teaching experience, along with 3 years of tutoring experience combined. I have worked extensively with students of all ages, in all grade levels in several subjects. This makes me very flexible and adaptive to any student that I come across. I have taught ELA, Math (elementary and middle), Spanish, and World History. I speak 4 languages and am currently learning my 5th!

With over 35 years of teaching experience, Jewel brings a unique blend of expertise, patience, and a natural ability to connect with students of all ages. Her lifelong passion for swimming began early as a high school swim team member for four years, and she later achieved lifeguard certification in her senior year. Jewel’s experience as an educator enhances her swim instruction, making her lessons engaging, effective, and tailored to each student’s needs. Known for her great sense of humor, Jewel creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere where swimmers feel confident and excited to learn.
