Hello there! I have over 9+ years of teaching experience, along with 3 years of tutoring experience combined. I have worked extensively with students of all ages, in all grade levels in several subjects. This makes me very flexible and adaptive to any student that I come across. I have taught ELA, Math (elementary and middle), Spanish, and World History. I speak 4 languages and am currently learning my 5th!

Jewel Ausberry, affectionately known as MerJewel, is the heart and soul of MerJewel Swim Academy. With over 35 years of teaching experience, Jewel brings a unique blend of expertise, patience, and a natural ability to connect with students of all ages. Her lifelong passion for swimming began early as a high school swim team member for four years, and she later achieved lifeguard certification in her senior year. Jewel’s experience as an educator enhances her swim instruction, making her lessons engaging, effective, and tailored to each student’s needs. Known for her great sense of humor, Jewel creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere where swimmers feel confident and excited to learn. Whether working with babies, children, or adults, Jewel’s approach combines water safety, technical skill development, and lots of laughter to make every lesson a memorable experience.

I’ve played football for nine years I play college football at the D2,juco, and D3 level my Coaching experience is I coached a 11 U 7 on 7 and coach, my brother 1 on 1 and also volunteered in the summer to help Coach I wanna get these kids the best work possible and show them the in’s and out’s of this game and the mental aspect I wanna push these kids to reach there goals I’m not a selfish coach i’m out there to help you get better

Former college baseball player at Wallace State Hanceville where I learned mental toughness and strength. Most well known for infield skill and swing mechanics. Have been coaching for over 3 years and have never loved it more. Specialty in infield work and swing mechanics. In the first lesson you can expect to hear a lot about how to approach a ground ball and how to alter or correct your swing to make it fit yourself.

Tennis has been my passion since I picked up a racket at the age of 8. From high school tennis to competing for the #1 Division 2 college team in the nation, the court has been my second home. For the past two decades, I've dedicated myself to teaching professional tennis full-time, bringing my expertise to top academies and clubs across Georgia, Texas, and South Carolina. My coaching philosophy revolves around fun, motivation, challenge, and positivity, ensuring that every lesson is not just a learning experience but an enjoyable journey toward improvement.
