Hello, I’m Jackie, a native Mandarin teacher in Bethesda, MD. Since 2019 I’ve taught K-12 Chinese, focusing on writing and speaking for students. I have over 20 years of experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring youth athletes in both academy and club soccer environments. Throughout my career with organizations such as DC United Academy, Weston FC, Capital FC, and Chicago FC, I have worked with players ranging from early childhood ages through high school and collegiate-bound athletes.

For the past eight years, I've cultivated a passion for boxing and mixed martial arts in students. I'm currently 5-1 in my professional MMA career (my last fight was in the UFC Contender Series). Coming from a small city in India, I wasn't naturally athletic, but through my growing understanding of technique, athletics, and biomechanics, I fight at the highest levels. I blend time-tested techniques and concepts with personalized training, getting people to really love martial arts and boxing the way I do.
