My teaching style is best described as a summer camp mentality. At summer camp, youth are excited to learn new things, build effective relationships with adults who care, and improve their confidence as they embrace new challenges. I strive to bring this mindset into the classroom so that every student can thrive in their academic life.

I am a 2025 college graduate from St. Mary's College of Maryland. I played 4 years of college lacrosse there and am now a Assistant Coach and defensive coordinator for the team. Over the 2025-2026 season I have learned many valuable lessons about coaching and how to get the most out of my players while still keeping the love for the sport they have. I am passionate about this sport that have given me so much and now I am looking to give back in as many ways as I can.

I have played football at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels, where I developed a strong passion for the game and learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and leadership. My experience as a player has helped shape my coaching style and allows me to teach athletes both the fundamentals of football and the importance of hard work on and off the field. I am dedicated to helping players grow, compete, and reach their full potential

Meet Coach Tony, With 8+ years of experience, he specializes in practical self-defense and fitness for all ages. His background includes a Royce Gracie Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt, a USA Judo Black Belt (under Lamonte Tyler), and a WTF Taekwondo Black Belt. He also trains in Muay Thai under Lamonte Tyler. With a diverse background, he offers a "complete" martial arts experience. Hi I’m Coach Reyes! Currently, I am the Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach at Notre Dame of Maryland a Division 3 Institution. I have been coaching since 2014 with my main focus in goalies and defense. I also understand offense is strategy and footwork to make you into a shifty offensive player. I have experience with 1 on 1’s and being in a small to large group environment.
