Hello, I’m Jackie, a native Mandarin teacher in Bethesda, MD. Since 2019 I’ve taught K-12 Chinese, focusing on writing and speaking for students. I hold Chinese teaching and Maryland early childhood certifications. I create customized digital lessons to improve students’ literacy and cultural awareness.

I have a masters in Computer Science and a bachelors in Physics. I have both teaching and one-on-one tutoring experience. I am interested in tutoring students one-on-one in math, computer science, and physics from the middle school to college level. I can do either in-person or online. I’ve been a Floridian my entire life until I made the move up to Virginia last Spring with my wife and 3 dogs. I’ve been a certified athletic trainer, high school teacher and tennis coach for the past 20 years.
