I started my career at PSA as the captain of my team and transitioned into high school soccer where I played 4 years on varsity. Through that time, I developed many connections in the amateur and professional soccer world. My coaching philosophy starts with understanding a player's needs by both watching and listening to them. Coaching is both about giving my personal, experienced opinion as well as listening to the wants of the player. "I coached Jose when he played for Youth Service in the 80s - I was his 16u coach the same year he played for Mel Zitter’s 18u team. In 2008 Jose was my pitching coach at Morris High School where we won the PSAL City Championship. As someone with over 50 years of baseball experience I am humble in recognizing I too continue to be a student of baseball. As a teacher nothing makes me more proud than when one of my former students becomes my teacher. Jose is one of these students who’s ability to communicate in a constructive manner I’ve incorporated into my own coaching style.

With a degree in Entertainment Technology, I've studied music since 3rd grade. Starting in orchestra with the upright bass, I learned how to read music in school. I branched out from classical orchestra to modern rock music. Coming from a musical family, I had access to a lot of instruments. I performed in piano recitals, sang in concert choir and acapella groups, and played bass in jazz band. I have a record label and perform acoustic guitar live.

Hello! As a veteran teacher of 23 years, I have taught multiple subjects and all ages of students, from K-12. I hold an NJ state certification in teaching Spanish, which has been my primary role, but I have also taught ESL, English language arts, math, health & technology. I have tutored K-12 and adults in math & languages. I currently teach high school Spanish.

Pickleball is meant to be a fun game! We'll have some fun, get better at the skills you want to, and I'll be able to provide additional instruction based on what I see in your game. I combine technical precision with patient, encouraging instruction.
