With over 15 years of experience teaching piano, songwriting, and vocal techniques, I founded the Margarita Shamrakova Music School to nurture the talents of aspiring musicians. From my upbringing in Ukraine to my vibrant life in New York City, my diverse cultural background shapes my unique approach to music education. Drawing from my success in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition and collaborations with industry giants, I offer comprehensive lessons covering everything from song creation to music theory. I saw 7 of the kids I coached play DI baseball and one get drafted - 13th round of the 2025 MLB draft.

I've designed various training programs for players of all different skill levels that delve into the techniques and strategies of the game. I have been playing tennis for over 10 years, training under experienced coaches and competing in tournaments for the past six years. As a current student-athlete on the Farmingdale State College Men’s Tennis Team, I have helped my team win two Skyline Conference Championships and qualified for the national tournament twice. I am passionate about helping players of all skill levels improve their game, develop strong fundamentals, and build the confidence needed to achieve their tennis goals.

I first learned golf as a teenager and was hand-selected by a Head Golf Pro to become an apprentice, aiming to teach and play at a high level. After an injury, I’ve been focusing on rehab while giving lessons, all with the goal of becoming competitive again. With over 25 years of experience, I've honed my skills under the guidance of the legendary Biaggio (Yaz) Consalvo in Northern NJ. Holding a U.S.G.A 7 handicap, I teach players of all ages and skill levels—from beginners to advanced, ages 5 to 92. My methods are simple and effective, making it easy for anyone to practice at home. Hello my name is Anthony and I am a PPR Certified Pickleball Coach! I got into pickleball two years ago and took to it fast, thanks to my tennis playing and coaching background. I have won medals locally and nationally. I recently won a Silver Medal in Men’s Singles at the Minto US Open Championships and a Bronze Medal at the APP New York City Open. I have also won a Bronze Medal in 4.0 Men’s Singles at a the Pickle Juice Spring Open. And won a Bronze Medal in 4.0 Men’s Doubles at the Monmouth County Cup. I have competed in Nationals at the 4.5 level as well as the Geico APP Championships in the 5.0 division. I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional (Level 2), an iTPA Certified Tennis Performance Trainer (TPT)-Tennis Fitness Certification and I am also Safe Sport Trained. I played USTA (United States Tennis Association) junior tennis where I had an 18 and Under Sectional Ranking in the Eastern Section. In addition, I am a former captain of the Colts Neck tennis team and I formerly played NCAA D3 tennis at Haverford College under Coach Sean Sloane. I have over 20 years of playing experience & 8 years teaching experience. I started playing pickleball Summer of 2023 and have quickly taken to it. I play and drill at least 3 times a week and I am really enjoying the sport. I have been able to parallel all of my tennis playing and coaching experience to pickleball and as a coach, I incorporate the proper progressions and drills as well as point play to help you with your game. I believe in positive reinforcement and keeping things educational, yet fun. I can help with your technical skills and tactics. I am offering fun private pickleball lessons, semi-private pickleball lessons, group pickleball lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot (dink), approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be happy to help you with your game!

Hi, I'm Anthony! I have been playing tennis for over 20 years and coaching for nearly 8 years. I most recently worked as a pro at UPenn Racquet Club before moving back to NJ. Alongside being a USPTR certified tennis coach, I'm also deeply involved in the arts as an actor, filmmaker, and singer. Tennis coaching is my passion, but when I'm not on the court, you'll likely find me immersed in the world of cinema. I'm particularly proud of my film "ETHEREAL," which has played at various film festivals. Balancing my love for both sports and the arts is what makes my life truly vibrant and fulfilling.
