Basketball was my first love. Although I didn’t play at the collegiate level, I had the opportunity to coach at the Division 1 level with the University of Portland Men’s Basketball program. During my time there, I led private workouts for our players, assisted with player development, and helped run youth camps on the side. I have worked with high level recruits and seen firsthand what separates good players from great ones. I believe that mastering the fundamentals is what truly elevates a player’s game. My goal is to help players build confidence, sharpen their skills, and understand what collegiate programs look for in their athletes. Every player’s journey is different, so I tailor workouts to match both skill level and personal goals. Above all, basketball is a game of heart — learning how to compete with passion while maintaining control is what transforms a player, both on and off the court.

Hi, I'm Diego Quintero, a 4.25-rated competitive pickleball player and coach in Vancouver, WA, with 2 years of coaching experience. I provide personalized one-on-one instruction, designing drills and training plans that build technique, sharpen strategy, and boost confidence. I’m originally from Colombia and have played soccer since I was six years old, first coached by my father, a former professional player. I competed in local tournaments, the Bogotá league, and eventually played in the second division for a professional team from my city. I’ve also played in the U.S. and France, gaining experience across futsal, turf, and full-field formats. As an NFHS-certified coach, I currently lead futsal training in Beaverton for players ages 5 to 18. My coaching style focuses on proper technique, game intelligence, discipline, and adapting to various styles of play. Each session includes technical drills, tactical exercises, and small-sided games designed to challenge players and build complete, thoughtful athletes.

I am a self-published author, playwright, and comic book artist from California and Washington state. I know a lot about science fiction, superhero, comedy, and fantasy genres.

I have just recently retired from teaching Middle School and High School Math for 35+ year. I will miss teaching and would like to continue by tutoring math. My teaching career is varied. I taught in Idaho and Oregon for 20+ years before choosing to teach overseas. I taught in Egypt, Malaysia, Myanmar, Ecuador and Guatemala; teaching at international schools. During that time, I also worked on curriculum committees, chaperoned week long trips and worked on my PhD in Math education.

I’ve been in the water for over 22 years, and swimming has shaped every part of who I am. As a former NCAA Division I swimmer in the Big Ten Conference at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I specialized in butterfly and distance freestyle and was a national qualifier in both events. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for hard work, discipline, and the power of great coaching. Now, as a coach, I’m passionate about helping swimmers develop strong technique, build confidence, and find joy in the process. Whether you're working toward your first race or chasing national cuts, I bring the same energy, knowledge, and support to every athlete I work with. My goal is to create a positive and challenging environment where swimmers can grow and reach their full potential—both in and out of the pool.

I have a music degree from Clark College, and am currently pursuing my BM at Portland State University. I have 10+ years of experience playing classical saxophone. I would like to help my students learn and grow in their playing, and in their enjoyment of the saxophone! I am happy to work with students of all ages interested in picking up the saxophone or learning more about classical saxophone.
