I was born and grew up in China. Before becoming a Mandarin tutor, I worked in hospitals as a well-liked Mandarin Interpreter. I enjoy teaching students at all ages, online or in-person. Over the years I have gained extensive experience working with children. Per your unique needs and desires, I'll design and prepare lessons that will meet your goals and areas of interest and improvements. In addition teaching the ancient language I’d love to share the Chinese culture and tradition.

Hi there! As to my experience, I successfully wrote/passed an education budget bill in NJ. I've handled education legislation with the White House & Congress. In Beijing I served as the Head Teacher of an English school, then opened my own, serving as the Primary Teacher. While there I even worked as a journalist and interpreted for the UN. After coming back, I became a Mandarin Chinese medical interpreter. I am well-versed in Language Arts and am here to help you reach your linguistic goals!
