Hi, I'm Diego Quintero, a 4.25-rated competitive pickleball player and coach in Vancouver, WA, with 2 years of coaching experience. I provide personalized one-on-one instruction, designing drills and training plans that build technique, sharpen strategy, and boost confidence. My competitive playing experience plus background as a certified tutor (CRLA Level 1) help me explain concepts clearly and adapt to each player's needs. I have just recently retired from teaching Middle School and High School Math for 35+ year. I will miss teaching and would like to continue by tutoring math. My teaching career is varied. I taught in Idaho and Oregon for 20+ years before choosing to teach overseas. I taught in Egypt, Malaysia, Myanmar, Ecuador and Guatemala; teaching at international schools. During that time, I also worked on curriculum committees, chaperoned week long trips and worked on my PhD in Math education.

I have a music degree from Clark College, and am currently pursuing my BM at Portland State University. I have 10+ years of experience playing classical saxophone. I would like to help my students learn and grow in their playing, and in their enjoyment of the saxophone! I am happy to work with students of all ages interested in picking up the saxophone or learning more about classical saxophone.

Ryan was raised in a musical household and began taking lessons from the time he was able to wrap his hands around a guitar neck. He is well versed in a variety of genres and styles including Rock, Jazz, Blues and Americana. He works with students of all ages and levels of experience and tailors lessons to the individual (no one size fits all approach). Beginning students start with simple melodies and basic chord forms. Advanced players develop theory, harmony, composition, improvisation.
