Hi, My name is Lauren, and i’m a sophomore in college. I help with SAT and SAT test prep, as well as entry level exams for high school. More casually I’ve tutored middle school and high school students in english and math for two years now.

I shape confident, fundamentally sound ballplayers with a coach's eye and a player's heart. With 15 years of playing baseball, I focus on hitting, defense, catching and mental preparation, offering technical analysis, tailored plans and a patient, encouraging approach.

With a lifelong love for the game, I strive to instill confidence and skill in every player. I am currently a college baseball player entering my senior year at Saint Elizabeth University but began my college career at Kean University as a freshman student athlete. Baseball has been a major part of my life since I was 5 years old, and I developed years of experience. My coaching philosophy centers on personalized development, fostering a positive learning environment where athletes can excel.

With 4 years of dedicated guitar play, my musical journey has been a delightful exploration of melody and rhythm. My passion extends to teaching, having immersed myself in the harmonious world of piano, guitar, and electric guitar within a vibrant church band context. I bring a touch of jazz to my musical palette. Let's connect and share the joy of music together!
"James is both gifted as a musician and as a teacher. Experienced, enthusiastic, and supportive, he guided me from knowing nothing to confidently playing in small groups.

I picked up the guitar after hearing Blink-182 live and knew instantly it was what I wanted to do. Since then, I’ve written well over 100 songs and played my way through styles ranging from rock ’n’ roll and metal to pop, punk, and blues. What I love most about teaching is seeing that moment when everything clicks and the guitar becomes more than just practice, it becomes passion. My goal is to make learning feel easy, so every student leaves not just with skills, but with a love for the instrument.
"I grew up around music, my dad played but I felt weird asking him to teach… he’s way too strict. Found Mitch and he was very pleasing to work with. I can now play and I know all the chords and some scales. He gives a lot of homework and wants you to practice. He can be strict but he knows what he’s doing.
