I come from a long line of golfers with ancestors who were pros in Scotland. I honed my skills in West Chester, PA, and later in South Florida, earning a single-digit handicap. In 2012, my son and I founded Imagen Golf to make golf dreams come true. I've written a best-selling golf book, hosted the Imagen Golf Podcast, and invented the "Pure Putt Grip." I've learned from top golf minds like David Leadbetter and Butch Harmon, and my coaching philosophy is centered on individuality and a skills-based approach. As a Top 100 Coach, #1 Golf Instructor in PA and certified teaching pro, I'm passionate about growing the game. I also provide virtual lessons from my indoor studio. Beginners are Welcome! If you are a beginner or coming from another racket, or paddle sport, and never played, my lessons are designed to help establish a solid foundation to build on. I began my teaching journey as a volunteer, assisting in community clinics with beginners and mid-level players. My focus is on developing sound fundamentals through the use of drills to provide more confidence when stepping on the court. Either a beginner or you've been playing and want to improve, I truly believe everyone can enjoy the game at any level with sound fundamentals, and a basic understanding of the game. Coach of the 12U team at Rotties Baseball, My mission is to help young athletes is to become better players & better young men, teaching them the value of hard work, teamwork, and a love for the game that extends beyond high school and into college and beyond. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here to help you every inning of the way. This year my team has won 3 out of 5 tournaments. I’ve played baseball my entire life and even made the USA team at 16 for the 16u team.

Since being introduced to golf at a young age, I have been passionate about bettering myself and others at the game. From playing at the high school, college, and playing in professional tournaments, I have spent the last 7 years as a caddie. While the winter months would bring me to the tropics of Jupiter, Florida, the arrival of my son this year has given me the motivation to help better the greater Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas full time. I have a unique approach- I will not hook you up to wires or devices or stress about what your swing speed is, as no two swings are the same. Golf is 90% mental, and I will help you master course management while teaching you how to address each and every shot. You cannot get better at anything by sitting around, so let’s use these cold winter months to personalize YOUR game through the eyes of a caddie, so that your friends and family will be shocked this spring when you tee it up!

John has 40 years of coaching experience from club, high school, Division III and Division I. He is one of the original founders of TNT Volleyball and has coached from 13U to 17U. My philosophy starts with learning the fundamental skills, basis of game play, and layering advanced concepts as teams mature.
