Her dedication led to train with internationally acclaimed artists, including Elena Lentini-protégés of the legendary Ibrahim Farrah-and the celebrated Ansuya. "I realize that prior to taking classes with Mel'Keta, I had a completely different idea of what "belly dance" was. I now understand that it is a full body dance and not just the belly. She helps me understand the movement, the Rhythms, and the feeling which created a somatic experience for me.
