I hold a degree from Berklee College of Music and I’ve spent the last two decades developing students both privately and through instructional environments. My teaching style is rooted in practical application—helping drummers develop time, feel, consistency, and versatility across genres including country, rock, funk, blues, R&B, pop, and fusion. I also emphasize preparation for professional scenarios such as click-track performance, touring expectations, and studio efficiency.

I've spent over 9 years in the water, basically growing up in the pool and building deep comfort and skill in swimming from an early age. I'm a certified Lifeguard with CPR/AED certification, trained in water safety and emergency response. For the past 2 months, I've been actively teaching kids how to swim-helping beginners build confidence, stay calm in the water, and develop strong foundational skills. My focus is safety first, then confidence, then technique.

Equipped with a bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance and Audio Production, I have been teaching and playing drums in the greater Nashville area for over 10 years. We will cover the skills necessary for having confidence behind the kit, with a clear road map for how to get there.
