Hello! I'm Rachelle Mulanax, and I proudly serve as the Head Tennis Coach right here in the vibrant community of Frisco, Texas. Tennis isn't just a sport to me—it's a lifelong passion, one that I'm enthusiastic about passing on to others. With 20 years of coaching under my belt, I bring a wealth of experience and insight to the court. Additionally, I've found success on the senior pro tour as a member of the Boca Raton Picklers in Pickleball, another racquet sport I've grown to love and excel in.

I played Quarterback and Free Safety in multiple schemes from an Option and Pro Style offense to a Spread/Air Raid. I have a unique insight and ability to develop players overall or in specific areas. My approach blends strategic insight with a commitment to personalized player growth. I work with athletes of all levels, from middle school to professional. Creating individualized plans for every athlete with regard to their specific needs. I’m comfortable utilizing biomechanical data (Uplift AI), retestable performance metrics (Keiser, Plyomat, Force Plate, VBT), slow motion video analysis (Edgertronic), and all applicable baseball metrics (Trackman, Rapsodo, Hawkeye) to formulate specific plans with structured goals. Created full return-to-play programs for athletes recovering from UCL reconstruction. From day 1 of rehab, to first throw, to first bullpen, to getting drafted and signing a D1 letter of intent. Wrote code to compile all performance metrics with the goal of showing closest correlation to the outputs we want. Active communication with high school and college coaches, as well as professional scouts.

I am passionate educator with great interest in teaching and mentoring students. I have several years of experience in coaching students for high school as well as bachelor level in various subjects like Mathematics and other engineering subjects. My teaching approach is simple ,critical thinking and analytic approach with curiosity and life long learning. I am Electrical Engineer by profession with positive attitude. I am committed to students in building career goals through teaching.

I have taught various math classes at the university level for 10 years. I have also tutored for 5 years, mostly university level but some high school students, specifically for the STAAR test. My teaching philosophy is simple: meet each student where they are and help them move forward with confidence. It usually takes a few questions to understand how they are thinking about a problem and what support they need most.

I have over nine years of experience as a competitive swimmer with City of Plano Swimming, including four years of varsity swim with Plano Senior Swim & Dive. I’ve also volunteered as a swim instructor with the World’s Largest Swim Lesson, where I developed a passion for water safety and teaching children. I am Red Cross lifeguard certified (2023) and attentive with swimmers of all ages. I currently hold a role at a women’s clinic which has honed my abilities to work in a fast paced environment.
