I am from Hillsboro, Oregon, and I've been immersed in pickleball for over three years. What drew me to the sport is its perfect blend of athleticism and social interaction. As a court ambassador for the past two years, I've worked closely with true beginners, helping them discover the joy of pickleball. I finish my lessons with games to apply what we learned and to allow students to use their creativity to problem solve. Early ages, the emphasis has to be on fun to keep them going. As my students mature, we focus more on building confidence competing. My older students provide notes for us to improve their level of competition in real matches.

I first started playing pickleball in 2015, but after a break, I returned to the game in 2022 with a renewed passion. By 2024, I began teaching and sharing my love for the sport with others. Having a background in various other sports, I've found pickleball to be a game I truly enjoy, and I've worked my way up to nearly a 4.0 skill level. As a recent college graduate, I now have ample time in the evenings to play and teach, and I’m excited to help others improve their game and reach new heights!
