My teaching philosophy is that you must have fun. If studying guitar feels like a chore, this won't work. I like to meet students where they are, both overall (what's the music you love!) and how they feel week to week. I've played guitar since I was 14, and I love the instrument not only because it rocks, but also because of its rich history and its standing as an art object.
