I am a Mathematics student at the University of Washington with over four years of tutoring experience in math, science, English, and SAT preparation. As a College Board SAT Math tutor, I created personalized study plans and helped students improve their scores. My teaching style is interactive and discussion-based: students explain their reasoning, predict next steps, and build problem-solving intuition. I have worked with middle school, high school, and adult learners.

I've been working with students to improve their Mathematics skills for the better part of a decade. This includes young children in elementary school, adults in middle age trying to go back to school, and everything in between. I believe the key to effective tutoring is patience and understanding of the student's needs. Mastery of the subject matter is important, but adapting to a student's learning style is also paramount. I help with Algebra, Geometry, Calculus and everything in between!

I’m Malcolm Albert, a Division III basketball player at Connecticut College and a lifelong student of the game. Growing up in Seattle, I developed my skills competing with Seattle Select AAU before completing a postgraduate season at Kimball Union Academy, where I had the opportunity to compete against high-level talent and continue growing as both a player and a leader. As a 6’4” shooting guard, my game is built around shooting, basketball IQ, and making winning plays. I pride myself on being a reliable catch-and-shoot player, creating scoring opportunities with smart movement, and constantly working to improve every part of my game. Basketball has taught me that success comes from consistency, discipline, and attention to detail. Those same principles are what I bring into every training session. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your game to the next level, my goal is to help you build confidence, sharpen your fundamentals, and develop skills that translate directly to game situations. I’m passionate about helping players improve because I know firsthand what it takes to grow through hard work and dedication.

I’m a dance instructor with 29 years of experience, specializing in Lindy Hop, Balboa, Waltz, Foxtrot, Blues, Fusion, and wedding first-dance preparation. Beyond improving balance, reducing anxiety, and boosting brain function and memory, dancing is simply fun! Most of all, dance changes lives, and I’m excited to take you through your next steps (pun intended). Whether you are brand new to dance or experienced and want to fine-tune your body mechanics, I meet each client where they are at and provide actionable feedback.

Dedicated acoustic and electric guitarist, electric bass player, and pianist hailing from Shoreline, WA. Music has been my lifelong companion, providing therapeutic and cognitive benefits. Under the guidance of local legends like Ari Doria and Azorik Vovin, I honed my rock 'n roll, blues, and punk rock skills. College-level studies at Shoreline Community College and Berklee's Online College of Music expanded my musical horizons, learning from esteemed names like Jeff Kashiwa and Sue Ennis. With over 5 years of live performance experience across various genres, including stints with the "Funk n' Groove" Band and "Finnegan's Wake," I bring a rich background to my teaching.
